- Tmavé, komplexné a dobre vyvážené červené, vyrobené z juhoafrickej odrody hrozna Pinotage. Prepychová chuť čierneho ovocia a kávy, nasledovaná stopou korenia a čokolády pred dlhým lahodným záverom.
- Aróma tmavočerveného ovocia a kávy je nasledovaná stopami chutí sladkého korenia a moka.
- Oblasť pôvodu: Údolie rieky Breede.
- Hrozno sa zberá a triedi ručne. Po dokončení výberu sú bobule jemne zbavené stopiek a potom pokračujú do fermentačných nádrží. Počas fermentácie sa bobule a šťava ochladia na 5 °C pre studenú maceráciu. Po troch dňoch sú pridané kvasinky. Po dokončení je šťava oddelená od bobúľ určených na lisovanie. Šťava sa prenáša do sudov z francúzskeho duba, aby získala štruktúru, komplexnosť a vyzretosť.
- Osadníci začali rozširovať Kapskú oblasť, pretože poľnohospodárska pôda sa stala vzácnou. To viedlo k založeniu miest Robertson a Worcester. V polovici 19. storočia začali nemeckí osadníci vysádzať ovocné sady a vinice a dnes takmer 40 percent viníc v Južnej Afrike nájdete vo vinárskej oblasti údolia rieky Breede.
- Región údolia rieky Breede poskytuje širokú škálu mikroklím a terény na pestovanie hrozna. Od horských svahov s vyššou nadmorskou výškou a skalnatou kamenistou pôdou až po dno údolia pozdĺž rieky Breede s prevažne lužnou pôdou. V tejto oblasti dominuje stredomorské podnebie, ktorého teploty sú v zime nižšie a v lete vyššie než v pobrežných oblastiach Západného Kapska.

Vinification Details
- The grapes are harvested & sorted manually. After the selection process is completed, the berries are gently destalked and then proceed to the fermentation tanks. During the fermentation the berries and juice are cooled down to 5◦C for a cold maceration. After three days yeasts are added. Once complete the juice is separated from the berries to be pressed. The juice is transferred into virgin French oak barrels to obtain structure, complexity and maturity
History
- Settlers started expanding the Cape region as farmland started to become scarce which led to the establishment of the towns of Robertson and Worcester. In the mid-19th century, the German settlers began planting orchards and vineyards and today, almost 40 percent of the vineyards in South Africa can be found in the Breede River Valley wine region

From the higher altitude mountain slopes with its rocky and stony soil to the valley floor running along the Breede river with mainly alluvial soil. A Mediterranean climate dominates this region, with temperatures colder in the winter and hotter in the summer than in the more coastal regions of the Western Cape
