Vinification Details
Grapes are exclusively hand-picked and selected from very precise vineyards sites identified for the outstanding quality of their soil and sub-soil. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle and is aged on the lees for 12 months
History
This Cremant is produced by Sieur d'Arques founded in 1948. The vineyards are in the Languedoc in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Limoux is known for producing sparkling wines as the fermentation method in bottle was discovered in Limoux in 1531. In 2009, the producer joined the GROWERS IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT; this guarantees the quality of the wines as well as respect for people the environment for the entire winemaking process from planting vines through to the final product on shelf
